We are a small, owner-run clinic in Ottawa. When we work with other businesses, it is because we genuinely know them — and the fit is real. Here is what that means in practice.
See How It Works
IVONNE is a small, independent, owner-operated clinic. The owner works here every day. When we enter a collaboration with another business, it is because there is a genuine alignment between what we do for our clients and what that business does for theirs.
We do not have a formal partnerships department, a sponsorship budget, or a dedicated influencer program. What we have is a very clear sense of which relationships have historically worked well — and a willingness to explore those when the conditions are right.
This page exists because we receive a high volume of collaboration requests that we have to decline. We want to be direct about why, while being helpful to businesses where there might genuinely be a fit.
When we do partner with another business, it usually looks like this.
We tend to collaborate with businesses where the owner is present and invested — not a franchise or managed chain. Ottawa-based is a strong preference. We want to know the person behind the business, not just the business.
The strongest partnerships we have are with business owners who are themselves IVONNE clients. When someone understands the care we provide firsthand, the collaboration reflects that — and their audience trusts it because the recommendation is real.
We are looking for businesses whose clients overlap with ours in values and lifestyle — not businesses looking for a quick cross-promotional exchange. Think: a yoga studio whose clients care about their overall wellbeing.
These are signals, not a checklist. If something about your business feels genuinely relevant, keep reading.
We want to be upfront about this so you can make the most of your time.
Our treatments are not donatable items. Every client goes through a clinical consultation and an individualized treatment plan — a complimentary treatment does not exist in the way a spa voucher does. We carry a very focused selection of retail products, many of which also require consultations for.
If you represent a charity: we appreciate what you do, and we are sorry we cannot be more helpful here. This is not a reflection of the cause — it is a structural limitation of how care works at our clinic.
We do not offer complimentary treatments in exchange for social media content, follower counts, or content packages. We have found this model rarely serves clients well — the incentive structure points toward promotion, not results. If you are genuinely interested in our services, the right path is becoming a client like anyone else.
We do occasionally work with people who create content — but this happens organically from within our existing client base, not through external recruitment.
We are not looking to swap logo placements, banner ads, or email list mentions. We are also not set up to create promotional packages for large-scale partnerships. Our collaborations are small, specific, and grounded in a real relationship.
When a partnership works at IVONNE, it tends to be simple and specific. There is a shared client base, a natural context for mentioning each other, and a relationship that exists before any formal arrangement is proposed.
The best collaborations rarely start with an email asking to partner. They start with an introduction — a mutual client mentioning a business they love, or a business owner who becomes a client and then wants to explore whether there is something worth building together.
A client of ours mentions our clinic to their fitness trainer. The trainer becomes a client. At some point it makes sense to acknowledge that relationship — no formal contract required.
A local wellness professional and our team co-host a small skin health workshop. Small audience, relevant topic, natural cross-promotion.
A business owner who is an active client tells their community about their experience. No arrangement. Just an honest recommendation.
The best collaborations start with a relationship. If you are not yet a client, that is always the best first step.
