Permanent Makeup Removal
Preparing the skin for something new.
Eyebrow Tattoo Removal
Best suited for all permanent makeup like microblading or Nano Brows. Pigments may turn colour, blur, or fade over the years.
Some eyebrow tattoo is applied in the wrong areas, and far outside the usual margins, leading to unwanted brow shape and colour.
Lip Tattoo Removal
Lip tattoo is the second most permanent form of cosmetic tattoo, with pigments lasting many years in the skin.
Pigments could fade unevenly, or be incorrectly applied outside the natural boundaries of the lips, leading to an uneven, inconsistent appearance.
Body Tattoo Removal
Preparing the body for something new.
Body Tattoo Removal
Maybe its a souvenir from your favourite festival (or something you have no recollection of). Perhaps you're starting a new career and need to hide your ink.
Body Tattoo can be removed, or even faded to the point where it can be worked over with a fresh design.
What Else Can PicoWay® Laser Treat?
Optimal beauty. Inside and out.
Acne scars are the result of inflammation of acne blemishes. The acne pore swells, and a breakdown occurs in the wall of the pore.
Some acne blemishes are small, and the scars created are shallow and heal quickly. Sometimes, the contents of blemishes
spill into the surrounding tissue and cause deeper scars.
The skin’s response is to repair the scar by forming new collagen fibers. These repairs usually aren’t as smooth and flawless as the original skin.
Superficial wrinkles are associated with textural changes of the skin surface often caused by aging and sun exposure.
Increased sun exposure and smoking can speed up this process, leading to more wrinkles earlier in life
Dark spots are concentrated areas of melanin in your skin caused by overactive pigment cells.

The PicoWay® laser is an ultra-fast picosecond laser that removes tattoos, but is also useful in the treatment of certain skincare conditions.
The PicoWay® Resolve laser is a treatment on the PicoWay® laser system, that uses a laser handpiece that splits the full beam into tiny microbeams. This allows treatment of conditions like acne scars, wrinkles and benign pigmented lesions. PicoWay® Resolve acts by creating tiny open spaces, called vacuoles, under the skin where new collagen and elastin are built and can transform the skin over time.
PicoWay® treatments are typically brief (15-20 minutes) and are done over a series of treatment sessions spaced weeks apart.8 Your doctor will recommend a treatment plan that works best for you.
If you are looking for a laser treatment that acts below the surface of the skin and offers low to no downtime, then the PicoWay laser IVONNE may be the right laser for you. Ask your laser professional how PicoWay laser treatment can remove permanent makeup, or body tattoo that you no longer want.
If you are looking for eyebrow tattoo or lip tattoo removal then PicoWay laser is for you. Unfortunately eyeliner tattoo removal cannot be performed at IVONNE since this would require an interocular shield, is a medical procedure, and therefore a controlled act.
Apart from the eyes, Laser Tattoo Removal can be performed on almost all other areas of the body.
Saline Removal is a more gentle, mechanical removal of tattoo pigments, ideally for those pigments that are close to the outermost layers of the skin. Saline Removal can sometimes even be used as an alternating service with Laser Removal, to achieve the most optimal effects, and a comfortable experience.
The PicoWay laser is approved for the following uses, namely: acne scars, wrinkles, dark spots (benign pigmented lesions), and tattoo removal. If you are looking for other laser treatment, such as laser hair removal, then the PicoWay laser at IVONNE is not the treatment for you.
While the PicoWay laser works on both lighter and darker skin types, depending on the wavelength and applicator needed for your treatment, the PicoWay laser may not be the best treatment for your skin type. Your laser professional will know which PicoWay applicator is best for your skin type and treatment needs.
Treatments with the PicoWay laser typically involve a series of treatment sessions, so that is an important consideration in your treatment decision. Your PicoWay laser professional can walk you through your treatment needs and will be the best source for determining whether treatment with the PicoWay laser is right for you.
Side effects with the PicoWay laser are typically transient and expected as part of the laser treatment. Clients experience low to no downtime. In some cases, clients may use a topical anesthetic to enhance comfort during or after the treatment. More common side effects include redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, tingling or purplish spots. These effects will differ, however, depending on the treatment that you receive.
How PicoWay feels will be dependent on the treatment that you receive. Those undergoing tattoo removal are likely to experience some pain and discomfort with treatment.
With PicoWay Resolve treatment (for skincare concerns), most patients reported low levels of pain during treatment for wrinkles and mild to no discomfort for acne scar or dark spot treatment.
Depending on the condition treated, you may be able to see initial improvement as early as after the first treatment. Typically, multiple treatment sessions are needed. As an example, a clinical study of benign pigmented lesions found that after 2 treatments, 87% of lesions had a least good response (>50% had a good response or better).
Yes, treatment with the PicoWay laser has low to no downtime. Most people can return to their activities of daily living shortly after treatment. You may need a bandage to keep the treatment area dry for a few days following tattoo removal.
PicoWay® is a picosecond laser with high peak power and ultra-short pulse durations for a photoacoustic, rather than a photothermal effect that can overheat the skin. The majority of PicoWay clients report high patient satisfaction and low to no downtime.
When receiving Laser Tattoo Removal at IVONNE™ you're connected with a professional who is also trained in alternative removal methods, including Saline Tattoo Removal. Your Laser Tattoo Removal treatment can be augmented, or alternated with different modalities for the best results.

PicoWay laser treatment at IVONNE cost will vary depending on the type of treatment, size of treatment area, number of treatment sessions and other factors. In general, it can be assumed that treating a larger area, such as a large tattoo, is a higher cost than treating a small tattoo or dark spot. It is recommended to obtain an official cost estimate before proceeding with any treatments.
Any laser treatment can temporarily leave the skin sensitive and delicate. Staying out of the sunlight is critically important. It is recommended to pursue any laser treatment in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months, and avoid Summer unless you are planning to stay indoors for the healing period.
IVONNE is pleased to offer patch testing to its clients upon request.
Patch testing could help minimize the possibility of any adverse reaction to a treatment. It is best to request a patch test if:
- You are receiving a new treatment for the first time;
- You are receiving treatment on a new area of the body; or
- The laser device has undergone service, maintenance, or replacement since your last treatment.
- The equipment in your treatment experiences a replacement, maintenance, or service, or the manufacturer or supplier’s training undertaken by the laser technician performing the treatment specifically instructs that a skin patch test is required.
Patch testing should be requested BEFORE committing to scheduling a treatment appointment.
